Henry Keighley is the Founder and Managing Director of Hull Search International and Hull Search London. 

Fuelling an early passion for international business, Henry read Modern Languages at university. He is fluent in English, French, Spanish and German. 

After four successful years in banking and finance, Henry moved to ICAP Shipping, London (now Howe Robinson) where he trained as a Japanese secondhand market ship specialist.

His expansive network in the Far East led him to build a substantial private transaction portfolio as a broker at ICAP, Braemar ACM, Galbraiths and Vogt & Maguire.

Four years working for a reputable London shipowner have been an invaluable addition to his skill set. They have helped him empathise with the complex requirements of in-house SnP mechanics faced daily by his shipowning clients.

Robust support from his European client base coupled with an unparalleled understanding of the pan-Asian secondhand market led him to setup ‘Hull Search International Ltd’, with offices on Piccadilly, London.

Jack has been a shipbroker since 2007.

Unlike many Sale and Purchase brokers, he has had the valuable opportunity of working in-house in both Chartering and SnP for a British shipowner for an impressive 12 years. 

His clients are often fascinated at his unusual understanding of the various facets involved in operating a fleet of vessels.

 His relentless work ethic and commitment to negotiations led him to setup his own Sale and Purchase business "Thames Shipbrokers" at the age of 31. 

Jack joined Hull Search in January 2022 and is a valued member of the London office, bringing considerable experience, an established client list and his industry-renowned good humour to the team.
